Aaron Schondorf is a multimedia composer from New York City, specializing in orchestral and electronic scores with a distinctive cinematic flair that maintain an intimate connection to narrative.

Aaron is one half of the composing duo for the new co-operative first person shooter Mycopunk, the debut game from Pigeons at Play, published by Devolver Digital. A mishmash of genres and aesthetics, Aaron's score provides the backbone for fast-paced gunplay and dynamic multiplayer mayhem. Mycopunk is in early access and will release on Steam and Playstation in October. The official soundtrack is currently available for streaming.

Aaron has also written for a large array of music libraries and advertising agencies. His in demand library music, which combines his classical training with modern production techniques, has been featured on such programing as ABC, NBC, and Netflix. Aaron currently works with 4 Elements Music, Apex Music, West 10 Music, Temp Love, and Black Label Music. He also writes advertisement music for Human Music and Elias Audio Branding .

Aaron also composed the score for the feature length drama The Faerie Queene by Lenny Lou which had its premiere at the 2024 Brooklyn Film Festival. He is currently working on the score to the game Silencer by Diane Wang, an narrative game about propaganda and information control in politics and journalism.

Aaron brings a unique perspective to his music and the projects in which he is involved. He spent his high school years touring with Circus Smirkus as a juggler and acrobat. He still remains connected to his circus roots, returning to the company to compose for the 2023-2024 Road Show and the 2025 Big Top Tour. Aaron has worked with many companies including Fieldston Choral Society (arranger), Carleton College (music director, arranger, and conductor), and VocalEssence.

Aaron graduated NYU with a Masters of Music in Music Theory and Composition through their Screen Scoring program. He is also an alumnus of Carleton College with a BA in Mathematics and Music, for which he was awarded distinction.
